You want to teach the faith at home

But you’re short on time, on materials and on ways to hold the attention of a kid who lives on screens.

Kids’ apps have turned into games

Points, coins and constant notifications. Kids come back for the prize, not for the story.

The internet answers without sources

You look up a Bible question and get opinions. Nobody shows you where it’s written.

FOR KIDS

Bible stories for kids and teens, at a pace that builds a habit

6 to 7 minute lessons with audio, a question to think about, a quiz and a challenge for the week. Tracks for ages 3 to 7, 8 to 12 and 13 to 15, each written for its age.

  1. 01

    A tree that grows

Every lesson, memory verse, lived-out challenge and prayer grows a new leaf. The tree grows slowly and never wilts. No points, no rankings, no streak to lose.

The tree from Bia’s faith journey
  2. 02

    Verses hidden in the heart

Each lesson’s verse goes into a treasure notebook and comes back on the right days until your child knows it by heart.

The treasure notebook with memory verses
  3. 03

A challenge to live off screen

Every lesson ends with a real action: help someone, forgive, say thank you. Your child tells how it went and you confirm it on the family board.

This week’s challenge, told by the child
  4. 04

    Praying as a family

The whole household’s prayer requests in one place. When one is answered, it becomes a testimony your family can look back on.

    The family’s prayer requests

Tracks for ages 3 to 12

Heroes of the Bible: Noah and the Ark, Joseph and His Dreams, Moses and the Open Sea, David and the Giant, Daniel and the Lions, Jonah and the Big Fish.

The Life of Jesus: Jesus Is Born!, Jesus at the Temple at Age 12, Jesus Calms the Storm, Five Loaves and Two Fish, Zacchaeus Climbs a Tree, He Is Alive!.

Tracks for ages 13 to 15

Real Friendship: David and Jonathan, Ruth and Naomi, The Four Friends and the Roof, When Anxiety Hits.

Teens also get a private journal only they can read. Not even parents can see it.

And every week, a new lesson

Ruth, Samuel, Esther, the Good Samaritan, Peter walking on water… The “Lesson of the week” track gets a new story for each age group, and every one is read and approved by a real person before it reaches your child.

FOR YOU

A pocket companion to read, understand and teach the Bible

Verse of the day and reading plan

Where does the Bible talk about anxiety?

1 CITATION CHECKED

Jesus teaches us not to live anxious about food and clothing: the Father who feeds the birds cares for you far more.

“Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life…”Matt 6:25–34

Ask in your own words

“Where in the New Testament does it talk about forgiveness?” The answer brings the verses, with the Bible’s own text and a checked reference.

Any verse in one tap

Type John 3:16, Ps 23 or 1 Cor 13 and the text opens right away, with the passages linked to it: more than 117,000 cross references.

Verse of the day

One verse, a short reflection and a question to carry with you through the day.

Reading plans at your own pace

The Gospels in 30 days, the New Testament in 90 days, Psalms and Proverbs in 60 days, the Bible in a year. Missed a day? Your plan waits for you.

Frequently asked questions

Is it safe for kids?

Yes. Kid and teen profiles never chat with the AI. They only see finished lessons, and every new lesson is read and approved by a real person before it goes into the app. We don’t ask for your kids’ full name, photo or email: just a nickname. To get back to the adult profile, the app can ask for the parent PIN.

Where do the weekly lessons come from?

Every week there’s a new lesson for kids ages 8 to 12, with a short version for little ones ages 3 to 7, and another for teens 13 to 15. It’s written with help from AI, based on the Bible passage, and only goes into the app after a real person reads and approves it. Right now there are 3 core tracks, and the “Lesson of the week” track grows every week.

Does it work for young kids who can’t read yet?

Yes. The Little ones profile (ages 3 to 7) shows the stories in a short version, with big pictures and a listen button, for a grown-up to read together. Quiz questions have only two answers, and the weekly challenge is done as a family and checked off with one tap, so your child doesn’t need to write.

Can the AI make up a verse?

The Bible text never comes from the AI. Each answer is built from passages pulled from the Bible itself, and every citation is checked before it shows up. Any citation that isn’t in those passages gets removed. Direct references, like John 3:16, open with no AI at all.

Does it work for my church?

Yes. Pick yours in the parents’ panel: evangelical, Baptist, Presbyterian, Pentecostal, Methodist, Lutheran, Anglican, Adventist, Catholic or Orthodox. It adjusts the tone of the answers. In English, Versilu uses the World English Bible, a public-domain translation with the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, without the deuterocanonical books. Something doesn’t fit your church? Tell us from the parents’ panel: we listen to every community.

Do I need to download it from the app store?

No. Versilu opens in your phone or computer browser and you can add it to your home screen like an app. It works on Android and iPhone.

What’s free?

Unlimited Bible references, the full Bible, the verse of the day, 3 AI questions a day and the first kids’ track. No credit card needed.

How do the trial and canceling work?

On the monthly plan you pay $1 and use it for 7 days. After that, you’re billed the plan price. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard, without talking to anyone.

Can I change the number of family members?

Yes. The Family plan includes 4 people, and each extra member costs $5.90 a month or $79.80 a year. You adjust it in the parent dashboard, and the difference is prorated on your next bill.
